The Lafayette Association of General Contractors is hosting a charity golf event to benefit a scholarship fund. The 31st Annual Charity Event will be held Friday, April 23, 2021, at The Wetlands Golf Course in Lafayette. The money raised will be donated to the Family Promise of Acadiana and the AGC Scholarship Fund.
The cost per golfer is $150. The registration includes lunch, drinks, and range balls. It is recommended that golfers sign up by Monday, April 19. For more information and to register call 337-884-4735. Participants can sign up as an individual golfer or as a team. Sponsorships are also available.
AGC is a professional construction trade association representing more than 300 commercial building, highway, and municipal utility contractors throughout Louisiana. Over the past 30 years, the organization has raised $600,000 to support various local charities.
Family Promise of Acadiana is a nonprofit organization providing resources to local families experiencing homelessness to help them achieve sustainable, long-term independence.
